An installation work consists of three techniques.
First part is three sets of rubbed copies of cobble stones on paper from Viiskulma (an intersection of five streets) in Helsinki. These prints are made from the parts that touch a large “ring” situated in the intersection.
Second part is a set of two photographs depicting part of an old quarry in the Central Park in Helsinki.
And the third part is a sculptural piece made with rye dough reflecting my observation and speculation on the topography of Viiskulma. This piece has no buildings and no streets, suggesting the times preceding the arrival of heavy construction machineries or human inhabitants. I have associated the rye dough to the notions of harvest and bread.
